If it's Obama.. who takes him down?

My thoughts going into this NH primary is that it seems we'll be looking at Obama for the democratic candidate.  While it is 100% certain by any means it is quite likely.  So when one of ours is up against him, who wins?  I know national polls show almost no one of our guys beating him, but that's because our guys haven't been played with him.  When it's down to 2 everyone will know very well the Republican candidate.  So the message I think that wins against Obama is this one:

Our Rep. Candidate has to be able to say:
"My fellow Americans, I agree with Barack Obama, we do need to change Washington and turn around this country.  With very few differences I agree whole heartedly with everything he says.  The only real difference between Mr. Obama and I is that I have already done that time and time again.  Not only do I believe in hope for this country but I can show from experience that I know how to get it done."

Who is the only candidate who has the record for doing that?  Who is the candidate that can take all of Obama's hope and speeches and claim them as his own personal record?  Only MItt Romney.  Rudy can claim to have cleaned up New York and led the state in some dark moments but Rudy is not the candidate that can take on Obama.  Romney's record stand alone, in the field of Rep. candidates, in showing that MItt can take all of Obama's strengths and roll them into a package he already owns.

My 2 cents.

"Red Rover Red Rover... send Anybody but Romney Right Over"...

"Red Rover Red Rover... send Anybody but Romney Right Over"...

As we get close to the line on our primary voting it brings back memories playground games and the lessons they still teach me.  The one that fits the best to our current situation is Red Rover.  If you remember, which is assuming you could play this on your playground before they became sanitized, this game involved breaking into 2 teams and then calling out persons from the other team to run at your team.  The team that eventually had all the people or the most before the end of recess WON.  The teams would line up holding hands and the Rover would try to run though one of those connections, if he/she broke the line he could return to his team.  But if the line held that Rover would become part of your team.  When you were called out you looked for the weakest spot in the other teams line and ran for all you were worth.  When your team was weak and near the end the strategy was to call out for the weakest Rovers you could to get your numbers back up.

The democrats have a team of 3 weak candidates.  They have to avoid being questioned by the wrong people or put in any situation that would force them to take any clear stance on the important issues of the day.  They know that whichever one makes it to the primary will have a hard time hiding their duplicity when there are only 2 candidates, so they want a weak Republican to face off against.  It's their only shot.  So right now they are calling out the strong ones so that when the primary ends they can be facing the weakest Republican possible.  Who would the democrats most like to face?  In my opinion, they want Huckabee.  They are salivating at the chance to make the election all about the Republican candidate and not the issues that face our nation.

With a Huckabee nomination they can unload all the good dirt they have been digging up and holding on to all this season.  The game has been to destroy the strongest republican candidates in the primary season.  We've all seen the reports on who has recieved the most attacks by the MSM and the democrats.  Romney is too scary to face in a general election for them.  How will Hillary hide her sordid past when she can't make Romney's the issue of the day.  With Romney at a general candidate they can't hide their own problems by trying to point the spotlight at him.  Issues like Marriage, Taxes, Budgets, Leadership, Success, Family, Appearance, Education, Health Care, and so many more are owned by Romney.   The only thing they could hope to scare the american people with is Romney's Mormon faith.  That's been well vetted in the primaries.  In fact most people have had enough of it and will turn on the democrat who tries to make it an issue.  Romney's speech made clear that he has the right vision for faith in this nation.  He's presdential and not the guy they want making it to the general election.

Can't you just hear their shrill calls from the other side of the electoral playground?  "Red Rover Red Rover send ANYBODY but Romney right over."
